Happy Birthday INETA!

Asynchronous Programming
We’ve all developed products that require us to present the end-user with a “please wait” message because the development and testing effort to engineer asynchronous code was too painful. We usually reserved the effort to incorporate asynchronous code into our applications, if at all, for the most critical areas of our products. Although I enjoy developing and debugging code as much as the next person, I do have other things in life that I’d like to do.
So what if there was a way that we could get the benefit of asynchronous code without all the effort? This is your lucky day! In my presentation I will show you how easy it is to incorporate asynchronous code into your applications.
A veteran developer (professionally writing software for over 20 years) working on projects ranging anywhere from major e-commerce sites such as RadioShack.com and InterstateBatteries.com to applications that are at the heart and soul of over 4600 radio stations around the world. His work history includes working for Tandy/RadioShack, Rare Medium, Inc., Electric Works Corp., Scott Studios Corp. and Shiny Stone Digital.
In his spare time, Cory is also owns and operates a combative martial arts academy, coaches a MMA fight team, is an avid motorcycle enthusiast and attempts to watch every action movie ever released.
