Bill's presentation will be derived from his new book Hitchhiker's Guide to Visual Studio and SQL Server (7th Edition) and his new EBook Hitchhiker's Guide to SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition. These are totally-new compendiums of tips, best-practices and examples to help developers, architects and managers design, code, test, deploy and support applications that access all versions of SQL Server.

 

Bill has worked in the computer industry for over 30 years—including 14 years at Microsoft. He’s written 7 editions of the “Hitchhiker’s Guide” which focus on Visual Basic, Visual Studio and SQL Server. He’s also written 3 editions of “ADO.NET and ADO Examples and Best Practices”. Bill and Peter Blackburn wrote the best-selling “Hitchhiker’s Guide to SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services”. His first EBook discusses the new SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition.
