Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain visual design and user interfaces for accounting system through a ‘user centered design’ approach
• Work with internal and external consumer groups to ensure constantly efficient’ user interface designs & implementations.
• Interact directly with key business individuals to gain understanding of functional needs of system and synthesize these needs into technical specification documents for internal developers.
• Ensure hand-off of requirements to development staff and ensure outcome was intended results of requirements.
• Ensure protocols and change management processes for applications
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer science related field
• 3-5 years’ experience in technology development and implementation
• Expert knowledge of the Microsoft design and development platform, especially Expression Blend, and XAML
• Strong Graphic Design experience with Photoshop/Fireworks/Illustrator/Expression Design or similar tools
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Expression Blend features and components, especially States, Behaviors, Animation, Data Binding, Templates, Styling, as they relate to designing and constructing Silverlight Web applications
• Experience with design strategy, design research, and/or usability testing is a plus
• Proficient knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, including User Centered Design, Interaction Design and Visual Communication Design
• Demonstrated first-class visual design skills including the ability to craft professional, and original rich internet and/or web application designs and has implemented design of others with precise attention to detail
• Solid business analysis skills
• Proficient knowledge of Web and mobile Web technologies (XHTML, HTML5, CSS3, RIA, JavaScript/Ajax, etc.)
• Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, Microsoft SQL, and SQL database management tools
• Experience in development for both internal use systems and externally consumed systems
• Demonstrated written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and interpretation skills
