Position: ASP.NET Web Developer
Location: Dallas, TX

Based in Dallas, TX, Pocketstop™ is a full-service Pocket Marketing™ (Mobile Marketing) company focused on delivering content, information, coupons and exclusive event access to your mobile. Using a Crawl, Walk, Run approach, Pocketstop works with clients to build a mobile strategy and associated identity using various technologies such as text messaging, mobile websites & mobile applications.

We are looking for an experienced ASP.NET developer who understands how to architect, code and support web, mobile and social applications. Our small team works in a fast-paced environment to develop and implement new solutions for our clients and features for our platform, which is used by thousands of users. You will be involved with designing, implementing and supporting mission-critical solutions for a highly successful, dynamic and profitable company working with mobile and social technologies.

Responsibilities:
Learn our existing platform, service offering and help implement the vision for our platform and company.

Work as a team member to design, develop and unit test complex .NET applications using C# according to specific architectural guidelines and business requirements in an efficient and accurate manner in order to meet deadlines and stakeholder expectations.

Participate in application design sessions, and code reviews to ensure accuracy towards business requirements, vision and development guidelines.

Participate in the development of detailed system/design documents to facilitate knowledge transfer and increase application support.

Responsible for the creation of functional and technical requirements use cases, UI mockups (wireframes), and documentation.

Help manage projects and assist off-shore teams with technical requirements.

The ideal candidate will have some background in mobile and facebook application development.

Required skills/experience:

Minimum 4 years professional experience designing and building web and Web Services solutions using C#/ASP.NET
Knowledge of  other Web Technologies: JavaScript, DHTML, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, XSLT, XML, JSON, Regex, Web Services and PHP

Development Tools: Visual Studio .Net 2008+, Visio & SVN

Database Technologies: Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 and MySQL

Familiarity with APIs and 3rd party integration techniques

Experience with Object Oriented Design and Development, N-Tier architecture, LINQ

Familiarity with developing web services and/or  iPhone/iPad, Android/Android tablet and facebook applications is a plus. 

Candidates MUST be local to DFW and able to work without sponsorship (US Citizen, Greencard, or EAD ONLY).

Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
